Counseling

Comanche has a counselor who works with parents and children according to a planned guidance program and also coordinates the Peer Mediation Program.

School Counseling Program Vision Statement:

Graduates of Comanche Elementary School will be confident and unique world-class citizens and will be fully prepared with the skills necessary to achieve their own personal excellence as they progress through their K-12 journey.

 

School Counseling Mission Statement:

The Comanche Elementary School Counseling Program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed through academic, social/emotional, and career development. In partnership with families and the community, school counselors use data to collaborate and work as advocates in a systematic way to ensure the access to learning is equitable to all students as they become successful, confident, and independent learners of our community.

All the lessons were created based on teacher input of what they would like their students to learn for the 2023-2024 school year and all lessons are subject to change or be updated based on the needs of the grade level or classroom.
